If possible, shave during a warm bath rather than a shower. Soak your legs and let the hairs soften. Sit in a comfortable position and make sure the leg that you are shaving is securely placed. Dispense an adequate amount of shaving gel and evenly spread over your entire leg. Soap tends to dry out the skin, so a shaving gel is recommended. Shaving gels are specifically blended with beneficial natural ingredients such as vitamins and botanicals (even avocado) to quickly replenish moisture to just-shaved areas. Using only a razor with clean sharp blades, start at the base of your ankle and guide the razor up over your entire leg, but take care not to press too hard against your skin. Rinse the blade between strokes. Shave the entire leg until you have removed all of the shaving gel. Rinse, pat dry and moisturize.
